The original rock and roll frontman of Australian music, Tex Perkins has a celebrated history. A man whose career has taken him from experimental punktronica through to the dizzying heights of multiple ARIA awards and recognition with The Cruel Sea, he is now joined by Matt Walker, an equally celebrated blues musician.
Matt has written, recorded and performed with a diverse range of artists which include Mick Harvey, Rob Hirst and Jim Mogine (both from Midnight Oil), Archie Roach, and many others. Now gracing the stage of the Tanks, Tex and Matt get their swamp blues groove on, a little reminiscent of the old days whilst fleshing out some new tunes.
